Because Nancy was a house guest, it was unfair for Jenny to treat her like her personal maid. Of course, Lucy had seen Nancy giving her a message and hadn’t thought much about it, but she hadn’t known that Jenny had been ordering her around the house all day. If she had known, she would have put her foot down the minute she walked into the house.
Amber, on the other hand, had seen it all, but it was not her place to say anything. When Stephen walked in though and saw how Jenny was behaving, decided immediately that he would not keep quiet. It was eleven o’clock at night and, when he saw Nancy giving Jenny a pedicure, he instinctively knew that his sister had been taking advantage of her all day.
Stephen scowled and demanded to know what was going on. When Nanc……
