When Alice arrived at her old place of employment, a very tired and disheveled version of Javon met her at the door. He welcomed her in and, as he spoke, he kept looking around as if he thought he was being watched; except that was impossible. It was late at night and the building was empty, or so she thought. "The day you left,” he whispered, “a very important document went missing."
Alice's heart sank when she heard this.
"It contained a new proposal,” Javon continued, “which had yet to be disclosed to anyone. One week after you left, our rival company launched what we had purposed.”
Alice's frowned. She knew that when they found the culprit, that person could face jail time and, considering the timeline, she could see how they might look at her as a suspect. “The building had surveilla……
