Lucy became more cautious when she found out that she would have to talk about things with three men.

The dinner invite was issued by Lucy, so naturally she would pay for it. Lucy began the formal conversation and led off with the main topic and said, "We recently talked about the contract between our two companies. May I ask what you think about our company?"

All of the men were sophisticated and so naturally they understood what Lucy meant. They knew that Byron made it difficult for Lucy’s company, but no one would say it out loud. "Miss Green is so outstanding and of course we are satisfied with the plan you have created.
