Vivian Miller had just returned to her apartment when she received the news that Lucy had argued with William. Furthermore, she had asked for a divorce, and then left with a bag of clothes.
"Are you sure?” she asked Jenny later that day. “Is the information accurate?"
“It is,” Jenny replied. “I was there. I witnessed the whole scene.”
Hearing this, Vivian could not believe her good fortune, and any animosity she felt over being ditched by the side of the road… Well, it simply withered away. “Ha! Ha!” she laughed to herself. “If you wrestle with a bull, you are bound to get the horns!”
