Chapter148 Donald at the Sanatorium

They dropped Vivian off at home and then Haley drove William and Lucy directly to the Sanatorium where Donald was waiting for them. Before they went inside, William wiped all sign of emotion off of his face. That being said, Lucy could still tell that he was angry. After being together for so long, she could read him like a book.

William's lips were tightly clasped, which meant that his mood was bad. His brow was furrowed. His nostrils were slightly flared.

When Lucy and William walked in, Donald was trimming a potted plant. He looked extraordinarily relaxed but, like his son, Lucy knew that he was also good at hiding his emotions. Unlike William though, she could not read the old man’s expressions.
