How about Lucy and Jenny? William and Steven will take them on independently. Certain positions will be appointed by them and Mr. George will not intervene. As everything is settled satisfactorily, William doesn't feel like going back to the old house. Thus, he makes an excuse that he has something to do at the hospital and leaves. Lucy goes back to the old house with her extended family. After all, she had visited Avril so many times recently that she doesn’t feel the need to go today.
She didn't tell Avril that she was fired, as she will just worry about it. However, Lucy quickly finds she made the wrong decision to go back the old house when she arrives.
