A whole morning.
William and Haley had been busy for a whole morning.
Lucy was the secretary, but more just a title. Haley and William would not let her do anything that required lots of work.
As for Caroline, she was just new here, and she was still on probation. Haley wouldn't dare to give her the big jobs.
So, there were only two people busy, William and Haley.
At twelve o'clock, Lucy was too hungry.
"Caroline, how about going out for lunch? And we can bring some food for them, what do you think?" Lucy asked.
Caroline took the cue from Lucy. After glancing at Haley and William who were still busy in the office, Caroline decisively agreed.
Then Lucy took Caroline to Fragrance for Lunch.
"Lucy, I haven't gotten my paid yet! Shall we change a place to eat?" Caroline asked.
