Although Vivian suspected what she heard was going on in Jenny’s room, she was still stunned when it turned out to be true. The idea of siblings f*****g each other was absolutely disgusting to her. She had originally intended to confront them. Now though, she just wanted to be somewhere else.
Making as little noise as she could, she went to her room and it was a long time before she was able to sleep.
The next day, when Lucy woke up, she found that William had already gone to work. She got up, showered, and dressed up nice for another round of interviews. Nancy and Vivian were sitting at the dining room table and they exchanged ritualistic pleasantries. Lucy asked Amber if there was any cereal in the house.
