I took a breath, bracing myself against the tempest within. “I’m thinking that if there is a seed of resistance, we have to protect it. Nurture it. But not recklessly. Not in the open where she can snuff it out.”
His eyes lit with something dangerous, almost eager. “Then we find them, the ones who have the courage to shout against her. We take them to us, before she silences them.”.....
