Later, the teacher-Keeper offered a lesson in silence—not emptiness, but space. She stood in the gallery, holding up blank parchment. "This page," she said, "isn’t unfinished. It’s waiting."
The former street-runner, watching from the corridor, whispered to a nearby apprentice, "You learn more from quiet than from questions."
