Warning them how much school would change after that one semester was the worst thing they could have done. It made paying attention to his studies all that more of a grueling task for Michael, and he wasn’t alone. The entire time felt like a transitional period, one that would never be put to good use by studying. Michael wasn’t the only one that ended up focusing on every other school activity, seeking to adapt to a new building, new facilities, new teachers, and a new student body. New friends, new hostiles, and a whole lot of new strangers.
