His instructor Sophia pointed away from them, and the more empty part of the room. “Stand up and go to one end of the office.”
Michael raised a confused eyebrow. Sophia motioned again, confirming her instructions, so he awkwardly got up and out of the chair, and walked to the wall.
“Alright, now run to the other end without crashing into the wall,” Sophia said.
Michael looked. The room was about twenty-six feet long, around eight meters. Michael could hardly even start to accelerate in such a short distance.
“Can I run around?” Michael asked.
Sophia shook her head. “Nope. Gotta start and stop. Go ahead.”
“Do I uh… Do I have to use super speed?”
“Of course not,” Sophia replied with a chuckle. “But you do have to run.”
“Oh.”
She wanted to see if he could run without using his ability. Luckily, ……
