The Mad Hacker chuckled, patronizingly amused.
“Not that bad as last words go, I’ll give you that. So inspiring!”
Michael’s hero suddenly flared a look towards the villain, violently jerking his body to throw the chair at him.
“Gah!” The Mad Hacker shot, but the chair rammed into him, getting his arms through it legs, thoroughly and awkwardly confounding him.
The Energetic Avenger rolled out of the ground and dashed towards the window. His would-be killer tried to aim through the chair, frantically firing anyway. The bullets went wide.
The camera was still focused on the window, so Michael witnessed bits of the wall exploding with the bullet impact. Moreover, Michael could swear he saw his feet glowing with that familiar blueish tint as his hero dived out the window he had come in through.
So……
