Tyler's POV
The rogue claimed, "I was sent by Damian to keep an eye on her," beads of sweat forming on his forehead. With a sly grin, I leaned in closer, my eyes narrowing into predatory slits. "Watch her, huh? You're not exactly the stealthy type, mate." I circled the cell leisurely, reveling in the rogue's growing unease.
"Danielle," I repeated, as if the name carried a weight only I could understand. "And what does Damian want with her? Spit it out, or this is going to get much messier than it already is."
The rogue, fear etched across his face, stammered, "A ritual, that's all I know! I swear!" His desperate plea fell on deaf ears. My smirk widened, the sadistic pleasure evident in my gaze.
