The suite, adorned with romantic ambiance, lay before me—a sanctuary meant for a newly mated couple. Rose petals adorned every surface, candles flickered in the soft glow, creating an atmosphere of intimacy and love. The air was heavy with the lingering scent of celebration, but the shadows of the night's events clung to me.
I had said my goodbyes to the pack, thanked them for their presence and support. Traditionally, the newly mated couple would leave the celebration together, embarking on the first moments of their shared journey. Yet, the anger that simmered within me directed my steps toward the solitude of our suite alone.
Tyler's actions gnawed at my thoughts. How could he have slept with Sam? The woman was a toxic force, and her venomous words still echoed……
