Tyler's POV
The night air carried a mix of tension and relief as I held Danielle in my arms. Her scent, familiar and uniquely hers, reassured me that she was back—her humanity restored. It was a stark contrast to the earlier darkness that had gripped her.
Luke's eyes held a mixture of concern and curiosity as he looked at us. "What happened, Dani? How did you break the sire bond?"
She took a deep breath, her gaze meeting mine before she spoke. "Damian. He made me turn my humanity back on. Breaking the sire bond in the process."
Luke's brows furrowed in thought. "Damian? The same guy who caused all this chaos?"
I nodded. "Seems like he had a change of heart, or maybe he just found a new way to mess with us. Hard to tell with someone like him."
Danielle leaned against me, the weight ……
