Luke's POV:
The motorcycle rumbled beneath us as Danielle settled in behind me. Her arms wrapped around my waist, and I could feel the warmth of her body against the cool night air. This was about us, a chance to spend some time away from the craziness that seemed to follow us everywhere.
The wind in our faces, we cruised along the winding roads. I stole a glance at Danielle through the rearview mirror. Excitement and a hint of uncertainty flickered in her eyes, and I couldn't help but share some of those nerves.
As we reached the cliff, the moonlight painted everything in silver. I cut the engine, and we hopped off the bike. Danielle surveyed the scene—a blanket spread out with a variety of snacks and drinks.
"What's all this?" she asked, her eyes widening.
"Just a little sur……
