Tyler's POV:
The morning sun painted the sky in warm hues as we said our goodbyes to Danielle's parents. They seemed genuinely happy to see her, even if the reunion was tinged with the weight of supernatural revelations. As we hit the road, Danielle was quiet, lost in thought. I, on the other hand, couldn't resist the urge to stir the pot.
"So, your parents, huh? A bit too normal for my taste," I remarked, flashing my trademark smirk.
Danielle shot me a look. "Tyler, they're not used to the supernatural chaos we deal with."
I chuckled. "Well, that was evident. 'Our daughter's a werewolf,' should be a fun conversation starter at their next neighborhood barbecue."
She rolled her eyes, and I continued, "So, you really think all the answers to your problems are in that journal? A magi……
