Elena's legs were weak, she turned back and saw the stick coming towards her.
Suddenly, a familiar shadow stepped in front of her, and the wooden stick hit the person across the back.
Elena was shocked for a moment. She looked up and saw the one who helped her block the blow from the thug was none other than Charles.
She suddenly smiled and her head was in a daze.
Was she so drunk that she saw an illusion?
How could Charles appear? He clearly said that he would not appear in front of her again.
Charles pulled her to the side to dodge another blow. He reached out with lightning speed and grabbed the thug's wrist with enormous strength. The thug felt like his wrist was being clamped by iron pliers. He screamed in pain and the stick in his hand fell to the ground.
Ronald breathed a sigh……
