Charles's heart was warm, Elena spoke for him, he was really happy. However, the more she said good things about him, the more the Hayes family glared at him.
"Elena!" she began with angry in her voice. "Even if it is your own decision, you only had the idea of deceiving your family after meeting him. Isn't that his fault?"
Elena was persecuted and powerless, she was not being irrational.
