It turned out to be Charles who was breaking in?
Elena looked at him in astonishment. She lived on the fifth floor. He climbed up to the balcony from the first floor?!
But the bitterness and anger seemed to burst, and she could not help cursing. “What are you doing here?!”
Charles’s face changed slightly and leaned back against the wall. She was frightened and hurried to grab him by the wrist.
She looked down and saw there was only one rope tied to the balcony railing. There were no other safety precautions at all.
“Are you mad?!” she shouted angrily. “Do you want to die? This is the fifth floor! Why would you dare climb up like that?!”
A smile appeared on his lips, he seized the chance and held her in his arms. “You’re so worried about me, but why did you want to break up with……
