RAINA’S POV

I had a confrontation with Alpha Declan the next day and for a few seconds after that, I was convinced that he was going to take his anger out on me.

“What was that last night, Raina?” He asked when he walked into my room the next morning and leaned on the wall.

I was still in bed! I could hardly process what he was saying because I had just woken up from a deep, comfortable sleep and there he was, staring down at me like a bull. I didn’t reply, I groaned in frustration and turned my face the other way, shielding about half of my head with a pillow.

“Raina!” He thundered and I almost jumped off the bed.
