RAINA’S POV

There was a drastic change in the atmosphere the moment I stepped out of my room. This was the next morning, the maids had brought in my food and even went as far as setting a night bath for me and had come into the room earlier to do the same. I could feel my bones again after a while, it had been a difficult night, trying to fall asleep.

My time spent in that horrible cell couldn’t just leave my mind. It haunted me, the sound of Alice’s voice irritated me whenever I thought about the night I had been captured. I doubted that I would be able to forgive her for being such a snake. What were her reasons? That was what fuddled with my mind, what were her reasons for betraying me in such a way? Well, I was going to find out sooner or later.
