RAINA'S POV
It took me a few seconds to recover from the shock and even longer to absorb the pain. I was stunned to my bones, I rubbed my hand against my cheek, it was as hot as a burning iron.
I stared at her with wide eyes, I could hardly believe it for some reason.
She grinned wickedly, “There you go, do you feel my power now?” She asked.
I didn't reply, my jaw had almost dropped completely.
“Do you feel it?!” She snapped. “Or do I need to land another one for you to understand that you have no place here and no rights to speak when I act. You're a nobody, you're nothing here.”
She came closer and scoffed mockingly as she looked at me from head to toe.
