Bella walked into the dormitory and found Eve waiting for her there.
“There you are Bella. Let’s go!”
Bella smiled at Eve but first had to find money for the man who drove her to school as he was still waiting for her outside.
She walked to her closet to get her purse and as she did so, she found the dress and shoes that James had given her, destroyed at the bottom of the closet.
Eve was anxious. Of course she knew who did it, would Bella find out? More importantly, would it ruin her plan for this evening?
Bella’s face blackened after seeing the ruined dress. Though it wasn’t the most beautiful, Bella still cherished it. Moreover, it was a gift from James; she didn’t want to owe him anything.
Holding the ruined dress and shoes, Bella thought for a while, then ran out of the dormitory.
