Bella finally arrived at her dormitory, suitcase in hand. Eve was waiting there for her and luckily for Bella the other roommates were not back yet.
The atmosphere in the dormitory was sure to be hostile. Bella thought it would be better for her to stay at the library as long as possible.
“Bella, there you are,” Eve said cheerily.
Bella raised her head and smiled. “Yeah, how about having dinner together?”
“Good idea. I will treat you today. I am so sorry for what happened yesterday.”
Eve’s words made Bella feel terrible. As Eve had said, it was just the waiter’s mistake with the room.
But thinking of the cheque James had promised to give her, Bella smiled and said, “Well, you treat me tonight, and I will take you to a nice restaurant later too.”
Eve knew Bella was special to James……
