In the girls’ dormitory, Bella was hesitant. She didn’t know what to do about Eve. Finally, she made a decision and called Tom.
“Hi Tom, it’s me, Bella” Bella spoke in a low voice.
Tom was glad to receive her call.
“Bella, are you still planning to move today? Do you need any help?”
“Yes, but…” Bella paused for a second, “Tom, Eve wants to rent a house with me. Do you mind us sharing a room?”
Tom’s mood instantly turned sour on hearing Eve’s name. She was always hanging around Bella and turned everything into a mess.
But in order to maintain his ‘nice guy’ image, Tom said with understanding, “I think my place is not really suitable for her but if she wants to live off campus, I can help keep an eye out for any available apartments.”
“Really? That would be great! If it’s not too much bother………
