When Bella got back she found her table was empty and everyone had left! The waiter came to her and said politely, “Are you Miss Green?”
Bella nodded in confusion.
“Miss Green. Your total bill is $5600. Were you going to pay by cash or credit card?”
Bella was shocked. She hadn’t even eaten anything yet.
“What’s wrong?” Eve came out of the washroom. Bella told Eve about the bill. Hearing their conversation, the waiter knew that Bella couldn’t afford it and ran to the manager.
Hearing that there were people trying to escape the bill, the manager rushed over to Bella. He looked at the dishes and drinks on the list and was shocked. He didn’t expect that these young girls would play such a trick, racking up a huge bill then leaving one poor friend to get out of it.
“Miss Green, can you afford it ……
