The storage unit sat at one end of Main Street Manville, next to railroad tracks. When they entered the property, Q was surprised how big the place actually was.
“Back here on the left. Where that guy's standing."
The man was shaking the padlock on Madison's storage locker. Odd. Q did not like the situation. He didn't like this whole case. It stirred up things from his past that he thought best left dormant. Some of those things were instincts he'd though long forgotten.
Q stopped her and pulled out his gun. “Go back to the car."
One of those instincts forgotten was to protect those around him. Well, he remembered it now. Protect others at all costs.
“Hey," Madison yelled at the guy.
