Madison sat up as soon as Q left. As much as she'd have liked to sleep she had a phone call to make.
Her handler answered on the second ring.
“I have an idea for getting him into the fold," she said.
“You have orders."
“I realize this, but it isn't working."
She wrapped the sheet around herself and sat on the edge of the bed.
“Go ahead."
“I've told him I'm going to sell it, but I think if he believes I'm going to give it back to the people he'll be on board. He'll go with me willingly."
“Hm. An idea."
“I good one."
“You aren't paid to have good ideas."
“I'm not paid to have s*x with Peter Quincy, but I am anyway."
“I'm sure there are benefits there."
“You are a bastard. I'm glad I'll be done with you."
“Done? Since when."
“You know this. You've known this. I'm done. You can't hold anything over my head,"……
