Madison debated how much she would tell Q. The amount would have to be just shy of what her orders said she could reveal.

She wanted to tell all of it to him.

This was the last job she was doing. Ever. She hated lying to people.

“Get dressed," Q said.

She wanted to lounge in bed with him. He was so lovely naked.

“Do I have to?"

“Yes."

Gone was the considerate lover. Here was the steel that had made him a special forces operative. Here was the steel he hid on a daily basis.

And he had no idea that she knew all about him. And he knew nothing about her. Would he be surprised?

If she'd done her job properly then yes.
