Q could only stare at Madison for a moment. “You're telling me that the man who is being sworn in today as Secretary-General was one of your captors?"
“Yes."
Her gaze didn't waver. He could tell she truly believed what she was saying. He took her arm again. “Let's go back to the lounge and discuss this."
“You don't believe me."
“Not enough to create an international incident."
She stopped and dug in her heels. “That's honest."
“I told you I'd be honest."
“Mm."
“How good a look did you get at them? You were what? Ten?"
“Yes, but this one I saw. My blindfold slipped and I saw him. I studied him for about ten minutes. I wanted to be able to identify him if they were ever caught."
