Madison stood and walked to the bay window. “I don't get it either, but my father never spoke of the incident again. I was sent to boarding school for a few years until I refused to go anymore."
Q stared at the back of her head. She was off somewhere. He needed her to come back. “And you think whatever happened to you was what made him go legit? Are you sure he was legitimate?"
“As far as I can tell, he was. They hosted parties with lots of government people. Politicians who wouldn't want to be seen with a crook."
“What happened to his company?"
“He sold it to Charlie."
The plot thickened. He was going to have to talk to his brothers. Q shook himself out of his reverie. “Is it still a company?"
“Yeah, but Charlie doesn't really run it. He used his contacts to get involved with his photojournali……
