When they got back to the room, Barkis has already settled on Amelia’s seat, Theodore was looking quite drunk, Nikolaj was silently roaming around the room, and Amanda is nowhere to be found.
“It’s about time,” Nikolaj commented.
He guided Amelia to take a seat beside her father as if he's too fragile to be left alone.
Nikolaj went to her and leaned down to look at the gown. “The stain is still visible.”
“The Miss did not want to wait long. She insisted on going back here.”
“I thought you’re going to handle it,” Nikolaj said with a raised brow. “Do you want for the Miss to present herself to the King and Queen looking like that?”
The table salt should be left out on the stain for a good amount of time but Amelia wishes to go back. He does not want to obstruct her on what she wants especially aft……
