“Something’s wrong,” Theodore said upon observing Amelia’s strange behavior ever since the dinner with Marlyn and the others.
It has been a day and Amelia is hard to talk with, not that he wants to talk. But it is unusual for the woman not to pester him. She is always giving him a hard time and now that she is not doing anything, it makes him think that something is wrong. Which he is certain there is.
He looked up from the newspaper he’s holding to his wife who is sitting across from him. They are by the balcony, overlooking the sea and the people strolling by the bay walk. The weather is nice for a stroll but his wife does not want to get out of the room ever since they had that dinner with Marlyn.
“Care to tell me what is bothering you?” he pressed.
