Julie and Thompson were flirting in the car when, suddenly, the phone rang. Thompson checked the caller ID and took the call. Sitting beside him, Julie tried to eavesdrop, but all she could hear was, “Hello… Yes… Hmmm… Uhuh… Uhuh,” and then he passed the phone to Julie.
Thompson met Elliot’s eyes in the rearview mirror and said, “Drive.”
Julie took the phone and put it in her ear. “Hello,” she said, “this is Julie. Who am I speaking with?”
“Mrs. Parker,” Duncan replied, “this is Duncan. Please come to the intensive care unit of the central hospital right now. I suspect that Jasmine is up to something.”
Julie sighed and said, “I'll be right there.”
As Julie hung up the phone, she looked at Thompson with a worried expression on his……
