“Thompson and I decided that we would take care of all this…shit…in half a year before we go public with our relationship as husband and wife.” Julie leaned back on the sofa, stretching and smiling as if she was relaying the simplest piece of information to Anna.
Anna was still in shock and it felt like she was unable to recover from the amazement of this whole ordeal. Apparently, Julie had all this planned out…but how, and when?
“Julie…” Anna started off hesitantly, however, before she could continue, Julie cut her off.
“Thompson gives me everything I ever want and he doesn’t demand anything from me in return. But I don’t want to just be a show piece on his arm. I don’t want to be called only ‘Mrs. Parker.’ I want to try my best to shorten the distance between us. I want us to compleme……
