Ken and Julie sat in a booth at a nearby coffee shop. Ken had been very persistent and, in the end, he refused to leave unless they went for coffee. In order to help the time fly, Julie began to chat with him. As she stirred her coffee, she said, “Ken, tell me something about your aunt.”
Ken frowned and said, “Are you dating me, or are you dating my aunt?”
“First of all,” Julie replied, “I am not dating either of you. Second of all, if you can’t even handle a little chit chat, then I am leaving.”
Ken sighed and said, “My mom and dad died in an accident when I was five. I’ve lived with my aunt for half a year. Then she married Laurence and sent me to an orphanage. She just wanted to get rid of me.
“It was bad at the orphanage,” he continued, “so ……
