Bella’s POV
Charity drove us down to the packed town square. Getting out of the car, I realized almost everyone was present at the field, as the whole place was crowded. Some had already shifted into their wolves, while others were still dressed and in their human form.
“This will be exciting,” my wolf muttered, sounding really excited, which was not the case for me. I would have preferred to stay in my room; I didn’t come here to socialize.
“Let’s go greet a few friends,” Charity said, holding my arm and making me walk with her. Getting closer to the people, I noticed how they slightly bowed to Charity, and she acknowledged their greetings with a friendly smile and a nod.
“This will be your life soon,” she whispered to me, but I scowled and rolled my eyes. It was never happening.
