Leaving

Bella's POV

I clutched my suitcase tightly, stealing one last look at the room that held fleeting memories. I could still vividly remember the first day I stepped into this space. I recalled my mother's excitement and Alpha Peterson asking if I was comfortable with everything in the room. Initially, I thought this would be my room for the next three to four years, but I was mistaken. This was only my room for just two weeks.

“Bella, why don’t you reconsider your decision?” Charity's words snapped me out of my thoughts, and I turned to look at her. “There's nothing to reconsider. I'm not safe here.”

“But…”

“There are no 'buts.' If you were in my shoes, you would have made the same choice. Leaving here is my best decision,” I stated firmly, and Charity sighed. “I will miss you so much,” she murm……
