Darwin’s POV
“No!” Darin and I rejected in unison without even thinking. My wolf, Frederick, growled disapprovingly in my head, causing a sudden wave of restlessness to hit me. The thought of rejection brought an uncomfortable feeling to my chest.
“Excuse me? You say no?” She scoffed and folded her arms. “Do you two think I will accept this bond?” She asked through gritted teeth. “Do you two think I will accept such a ridiculous bond?” She questioned, while Darin and I exchanged glances before returning our gaze to her.
“Never! I will never accept this silly bond. This has to be a trick. Perhaps you two must have visited a powerful witch to cast a spell on my wolf,” she accused, making a disapproving frown appear on my face. It was ridiculous for her to think that we could actually do such a ……
