As soon as Roger arrived at the hotel, the front-desk personnel nodded politely and kept silent for fear that they would enrage the president who looked like he was in a sour mood. But, then again when was he ever in a good mood?
While Roger was walking towards his office, a scene appeared in Roger's mind. The day when Jessica had run to him with tears in her eyes when he had gotten attacked.
It was then that he changed his mind about her. Yes, he was still angry about what she had done but at that moment, his feelings had started to slowly change. For he had noticed the care in her eyes. In fact, he had always known she cared for him at a deeper level; however, he had chosen to ignore it while he plotted revenge again……
