In the morning, Jessica was awakened by Evan who was jumping on the bed like a little monkey.
"Wake up, mama! Wake up!"
"Ohhh," Jessica replied and yawned but flinched when she felt the soreness in her body. She had almost forgotten about her bruises. When she looked down and noticed she had pajamas on, Jessica blushed. Yes, pajamas. She had not been wearing pajamas when she slept earlier this morning!
Once Jessica freshened up and came out of the bathroom, she was surprised to find Roger in her room, standing in front of the dressing mirror and putting on a tie over his fine black suit. Evan sat on the bed, watching Roger in earnest and chatting happily away about his new toys. Jessica walked towards him and said, "Good Morning."
"Morning," ……
