Jessica stirred during the middle of the night. When she moved, she felt Evan's soft body curled beside her. She smiled at the familiar baby scent that floated to her nose; that scent had been her calming therapy through many nights she had felt alone and lonely when Evan had been younger. His calming body had been her soothing cure for many years. Jessica snuggled closed to Evan when she stiffened; what was behind her?
Jessica shifted slightly; there was a hard body behind her! Who was that!? This was HER room; it could not be Roger, could it? Jessica turned around and felt a chill run through her body, she opened her mouth to speak but the body shifted, and a sudden hand clamped over her mouth.
"Shh! Do not make noise! Evan is sleeping!" Roger's voice hissed forcefully throu……
