The sealing magic which had been used to obscure the knowledge contained in the Nostre Daemonium, wasn't ordinary natural magic. The pages of the book were still in great condition, but they were completely blank. A rudimentary analysis soon revealed traces of dark residue. Vanessa understood that the book had been sealed by a witch. Initially, she suspected the involvement of dark magic, but on taking a closer look at the book's glossy spine, she quickly realized that the sealing incantation had been performed using advanced level lunar magic.
