When Vanessa woke up the following dawn, she found the forest around her still burning. The fire had reached all the way up to the walls of the coven stead and it threatened to consume everything in its path. She glanced around her and found all exits blocked by the ravaging flames. As long as the forest kept burning there was no way for her to reach the open road. The enchanted walls of the coven stead kept the flames out, but the temperature was gradually rising. She was trapped right in the middle of a blazing inferno.
If left unchecked the fire would continue to spread and soon reach the adjoining groves. Vanessa was safe inside the coven stead, but she needed to get moving before it was too late. Mortimer's condition was worsening with every passing minute and it was up to her to brew ……
