When Brooke didn't hear from Mark, she decided to send him a text. It had been more than a full day and she didn't feel as if she was being too forward. They had left things open for a second date. Maybe she was being impatient, but she didn't think so.
She stared at her phone. She typed the text out but hadn't sent it. This was Paige's area of expertise, but Paige was at work. Brooke wouldn't bother her with this.
She sat in front of her computer. She'd been writing for an hour and needed a small break. Breakfast would be nice, but getting this situation sorted niggled at her brain now that she's emptied it of the story she was creating.
'Hi. I had a nice time on our date. Are you up for another? I'm free on Saturday if you are.'
The cursor blinked. She should put down her phone and make hers……
