The look on Zoe's face was priceless, she definitely got what she deserved. She indicated that she was a conniving and malicious woman, who was born to play evil scenes in movies. Edie looked her over intently while she stared speechlessly at her. Zoe had no reply.
Instead, she walked towards Edie, grabbed her arm tightly and said, "Are you free tonight?" In Edie's mind, Zoe was like a malicious cold snake and could bite at any time. As she held her arm, Edie felt as though she crossed a scary snake. She felt a little uncomfortable.
She pulled her arm back and said, "Sorry, I have something do to tonight." Zoe kept smiling, "We still have lots of time. What about a cup of coffee?"
"Sorry, I felt a little tired. I need to take a rest."
Zoe's face changed and her smile disappeared. She ……
