Eddie's voice trembled as she began to speak. The minute she finished, Aaron burst into laughter, as if he heard the funniest joke.
“Merciless? Me? I assume you have been protected for quite a long time. Stuart was not an innocent bystander. Why do you think this happened? Stuart has blood on his hands as well!"
“I.....” Eddie was confused. She wanted to say something, but she couldn’t find any words to tell what she was feeling. It wasn't until at that moment did Eddie realize she didn’t know Stuart at all.
