The tension between them seemed to have dissipated. When they got up it was as though nothing had happened.
"Stuart, I need to talk to you." Stuart walked over to the living room, sat beside her on the sofa and extended his legs, "Sure."
"I... I got a new acting job," Edie thought of Stuart's contemptuous attitude towards her career in the morning and felt bitter. "I knew you wouldn't be happy to hear about it, I'm sorry, but I will not stop acting. I know you may look down on me, but I don't care, it's my career and it's what I want to do."
She knew she had to confront him before he found out from someone else. Stuart looked at her with a frozen gaze and nodded, "Congratulations." Edie looked at him in surprise, "You're not upset?"
Stuart's deep slim eyes focused……
